“I enjoy participating in interprofessional activities because I get to work with other health profession students to achieve a similar goal which is to best serve the patient. It has been very beneficial to my learning to get to see what viewpoints other students bring to the discussion, as well as feeling heard in my point of view regarding the patient. I am already using what I have learned throughout my interprofessional activities during clinical rotations right now. I have already seen firsthand the importance of communication within a team, not just within the rehab team, but also throughout the spectrum of care.”
