Interprofessional Student Spotlight
“Interprofessional activities enhance our learning and training at the University of Minnesota by ensuring we can work together in a collaborative environment to reach a common goal: putting the patients' needs first. Ultimately, it is important to be able to understand how to navigate different personalities and build and foster relationships between interprofessional teams. Without being trained to work in a common health care team just as the U does for us, we would have to learn a lot more on the job. It is really helpful that the U of M's Center for Interprofessional Health focuses on training their students in interprofessional relations and management through coursework and volunteer activities.”
