Interprofessional Student Spotlight
“Teamwork is undoubtedly important for providing patient-centered care. I like that the interprofessional activities allow students to have space to explore different disciplines in a learning environment. It gives us a place to ask questions, make mistakes, and collaborate as health professionals and future team members. Interprofessional activities at the U of M, such as the Escape Room, have enhanced my communication abilities with other disciplines. Throughout my future practice I will continue to learn with, from, and about my colleagues and patients so that I can strive to provide the best patient care.”
