Interprofessional Student Spotlight

“Interprofessional activities have always given me an opportunity to learn from other health care students and hear another perspective on what it’s like to work in our health care system. It’s fun to meet new people who are experts in a different field than your own since they can teach you something you never knew and you can share your own knowledge with them in return. Interprofessional activities are a fun way to learn outside of a typical classroom setting. They allow me to practice real-life skills that I will use in my future career before I am actually working in a clinical setting. That way, by the time I graduate and become a licensed pharmacist, I will already have practiced the skills I need to work effectively with other members of the health care team.”
