“Participating in interprofessional activities has significantly shaped my interpersonal skills, preparing me for the diverse experiences awaiting me in my professional journey. The complexity of the medical field, with its multitude of specialized professions, can be overwhelming, requiring a keen understanding of one's unique contributions. Developing strong skills—such as effective communication, teamwork, adaptability, empathy, cultural competence, and conflict resolution—has been an integral part of this preparation. The IPE Scholars Program and its activities have been instrumental in nurturing my professional identity, empowering me to make impactful contributions, and equipping me to drive enduring transformations in the ever-evolving landscape of health care. These enhanced skills not only benefit my personal and professional growth, but also play a pivotal role in delivering patient-centered care and fostering collaboration within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.”
