What do you enjoy most about interprofessional activities?
What I enjoy most is getting to see how different professions approach the same patient problem from their own perspective. It’s always interesting to see how much stronger the plan becomes when everyone contributes their expertise.
How do interprofessional activities enhance your learning and/or training?
They’ve helped me understand how care actually works in practice. Experiences like working at the Phillips Neighborhood Clinic have shown me how important clear communication, role clarity, and teamwork are for making sure patients get the support they need.
How do you envision incorporating what you learn through interprofessional activities into your future career?
In my future career, I hope to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and community partners, especially when caring for underserved populations. Interprofessional training has reinforced for me that good care almost always depends on strong collaboration.
