Melissa Martin, RN, BSN

M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank

Melissa Martin is a nurse on Unit 6C, which is the Cardiology Intermediate Care (IMC) Unit at UMMC. In addition to providing direct care for patients, she also is involved in training new nurses as well as precepting nursing students. Melissa wants to use her experiences over the last 11 years to help prelicensure learners work together to address patient issues.

Sandi Mulliner, MBA, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist; Clinical Education Liaison (PT, OT, SLP)
CentraCare - St. Cloud Hospital

Sandi Mulliner is employed at CentraCare - St. Cloud Hospital. She has practiced as a speech-language pathologist for 19 years and as a clinical education liaison for 10 years. As an Interprofessional LEAP Champion, Sandi is most excited about the opportunity to expose learners to the standard of collaborative care early on in their education to improve the quality of care they provide, now and in the future.

Jennifer Pratt, DO

GME Director, Physician - Pediatric Hospital Medicine

Children's Minnesota

Dr. Pratt is the director of Graduate Medical Education at Children's Minnesota where she has practiced as a pediatric hospitalist for 11 years. After completing residency training at the University of Minnesota, she has spent the past decade precepting medical students and residents through their pediatric clerkship and inpatient pediatric rotations. As an interprofessional LEAP Champion, she is most excited about engaging learners across disciplines in real and authentic learning opportunities that serve to strengthen team dynamics and improve value-based care.
